During the hike, you’ll regularly pass a hut where you can grab something to eat or drink. Breakfast is always included at the huts where you stay overnight, and dinner is included at one of the two huts.
On the night you stay in a tent at the campsite, you can have dinner at the campsite restaurant or grab something from its food truck. There’s also a small shop selling basic breakfast supplies.
On the evening when dinner isn’t included at the hut, you can choose your meal from the hut’s menu. (Please note: this isn’t included, so you’ll need to pay for it yourself after dinner.)
We recommend bringing enough food for the day. Pack plenty of snacks, such as nuts and dried fruit, to keep your energy levels up.
If you don’t want to eat lunch at a hut every day, or you’d simply like to spend a little less, you can also buy a food pack from us for €50. It includes a cooking set (small pot, gas burner and gas canister) and several freeze-dried meals (daily lunch, plus dinner and breakfast for the night at the campsite). Bring your own lighter and reusable cutlery or a long-handled spoon.
You’ll also need to bring your own water bottles. Make sure you can carry at least 2 to 3 litres of water. You can refill your bottles at the huts, sometimes for a fee.
